Target Audience: Gen Zalpha

Overview
This project focused on creating a playful, immersive packaging system for Crocs, designed specifically to engage Gen Zalpha. The goal was to craft a unique product line that delivers a fun and versatile shoe experience with a memorable unboxing journey.

Role
I led the development of the shoe and box mockups and helped orient the overall design direction. This project was a collaborative effort with Precious Kicking Women and Christian Carlson, who contributed to concept and character development.

Process
The packaging system includes the shoe box, style guides, blister card, classic clog mockups, and “giblets”. The exterior of the shoe box uses a minimal solid green design with a minimal usage of gradient lines and characters to create a sleek look, while the interior reveals a vibrant experience with sunset-inspired gradient lines and playful giblet illustrations “coming at you” to engage the consumer. There are five original characters; Joy, Mellow, Bold, Adventurous, and Glam. They serve as the foundation of the design language, giving personality to the packaging and unboxing experience. Social media posts and product mockups were also developed to present the line cohesively, reinforcing the fun and adventurous tone intended for this demographic.

Outcome
The final design delivers a high-energy, interactive packaging experience that appeals to Gen Zalpha consumers, blending minimal exterior sophistication with a dynamic, character-driven interior. This project showcases the creation of a fully original Crocs product line that balances playful design, brand identity, and consumer engagement.
